Pepperoni Pizza Chili
Preparation Time: 45 mins. Number of Servings: 8

Ingredients:
|
1 pound ground beef
|
1 can (16oz.) kidney beans, rinsed and drained
|
1 can (15oz.) pizza sauce
|
1 can (14-1/2oz) diced tomatoes, undrained
|
1 can beef broth (10-1/2oz)
|
1 can (8oz) tomato sauce
|
1-1/2 cups water
|
1 pkg. (3-1/2oz) sliced pepperoni
|
1/2 cup chopped green pepper
|
1 tsp. pizza seasoning or Italian seasoning
|
1 tsp. salt
|
shredded mozzarella cheese, optional
|
|
Directions: In large saucepan, cook beef till no longer pink; drain. Stir in beans, pizza sauce,
tomatoes, tomato sauce, water, pepperoni, green pepper, pizza seasoning and salt.
Bring to a boil. Reduce heat; simmer, uncovered for 30 mins. or till chili reaches
desired thickness. Garnish with cheese if desired. Enjoy!
