Chocolate Coca Cola Cake(Warm, chocolatey cake)

Ingredients:

2 cups flour
|
2 cups sugar
|
2 sticks butter
|
2 tablespoons cocoa
|
1 cup coca cola
|
1/2 cup buttermilk
|
1 teaspoon baking soda
|
2 eggs
|
1 teaspoon vanilla
|
1/4 teaspoon salt
|
Perfectly Chocolate Frosting:
|
1 stick butter or margarine
|
2/3 cup cocoa
|
3 cups powdered sugar
|
1/3 cup milk
|
1 teaspoon vanilla
|
|
Directions: CAKE DIRECTIONS: Sift together the flour and sugar. Heat to the boiling point the butter, cocoa and Coca-Cola.
Add to the flour and sugar mixture. Stir to blend. Add buttermilk, soda, eggs, salt and vanilla. Stir with a spoon until well blended. Pour into a greased and floured oblong pan (Pyrex dish). Bake at 350 degrees for 30-35 minutes. Batter will be thin. Frost the cake while it's hot.
FROSTING DIRECTIONS: Melt butter. stir in cocoa. Alternately add powdered sugar and milk, beat on medium speed to spreading consistency. Add more milk if needed. Stir in vanilla. (Makes 2 cups)
