Ingredients:
6 potatoes, peeled and cut into pieces
big pot of water
salt
butter
cream
Directions: Fill a big pot with water. Wash, peel and cut up your potatoes. Add potato pieces to boiling water. Turn water down to a bubbling simmer and simmer potatoes for about 20-25 minutes, stirring occasionally. Potatoes are done when you can easily stab them with a fork. Pour potatoes and water into a strainer and drain water out.
Grabe a big mixing bowl and pour your hot boiled potatoes into it. Now add several tablespoons of butter and pour a little cream into the bowl. Take a mixer and beat the potatoes until all the lumps are gone. You might have to add more butter and cream until your desired taste and texture are achieved. Then shake a little salt into it until it tastes just right for you.
Serve with your choice of gravy or you can just sprinkle a little paprika on top. Yum!
