Quick Candied Yams(Canned sweet potatoes in a casserole dish covered with sweet syrup and topped with marshmellows.)
Preparation Time: 15 - 30 minutes Number of Servings: 8

Ingredients:

2- 15 oz. cans yams
|
2/3 cup syrup from can
|
2/3 cup brown sugar
|
1/2 cup butter
|
marshmellows
|
|
Directions: Combine syrup, sugar, butter in saucepan over medium heat. Stir until thickened. Place yams in a shallow baking dish. Pour sauce over yams.
Bake 350 F for 25-30 minutes.
Place marshmellows on top of hot yams and cook for an additional 5 minutes or until the marshmellows are brown.
