Number of Servings: 90

Ingredients:
| 1 1/2 C Margarine or Butter
| 1 C Brown sugar
| 1/2 C White sugar
| 3 Eggs, beaten
| 1 1/2 tsp vanilla
| 3 1/2 C Flour
| 1 1/2 tsp Baking Soda
| 1-6 oz pkg vanilla instant pudding mix
| 2 C Chocolate chips
| Optional-1 C chopped nuts
Directions: Cream butter and sugar.
Add eggs, mix well.
Add flour (little at a time), pudding, soda, salt & vanilla.
Mix well.
Add chocolate chips. Add nuts if desired.
Drop on cookie sheet, bake at 375.
Press down with small glass dipped in white sugar. This is a nice touch. Leaves a little white coating on the cookie. Takes a little experimenting to do it right. Also makes each cookie fairly uniform.
When making the batter, if it seems too thick, reduce the amount of flour so that the cookie is fairly thin. Especially if you intend to make a sandwich cookie.
Bake 12 minutes.
One can sandwich these also with icing between.
