Ingredients:

Several green beans (depending on serving size) washed and cut in halves.

Salt and black pepper

A stick of butter (depending on serving size)

Directions: Fill a sauce pan with 1/2 full water, place on high heat and bring to a boil. Prepare beans while waiting. Pour beans into sauce pan when water begins to boil. Melt the butter on frying pan(low heat), spread the butter around the entire pan until fully melted. When beans are soft, pour them into a stainer and then move them to the frying pan with the butter. Let them cook until soft. Add salt and pepper and constantly stir the beans every 3-5 minutes.
