PB&J Muffins(Yummy peanut butter muffins with jelly/jam inside)

Ingredients:

1 3/4 all purpose flour
|
1/3 cups sugar
|
2 1/2 teaspoons baking powder
|
1/2 cup creamy peanut butter
|
1 large egg
|
3/4 cup milk
|
1/3 cup melted butter
|
1/2 cup fruit jelly or fruit jam
|

Directions: preheat oven to 375. line a 12 cup muffin tin with paper liners. In a large bowl, combine the flour, sugar, baking powder, and salt. in a seperate bowl, mix the peanut butter with the egg; addthe milk a little at a time, then add the butter. mix well. Pour the wet batter into a bowl with the dry ingredients and stir gently to combine (the batter will be stiff). Put a heaping tablespoon of batter in the bottom of each muffin cup. Use your finger to put an indentation in the center of each muffin and put a teaspoon of jelly/jam in the indentation. cover with another heaping teaspoon of batter, or enough to cover or enough to fill each cup about 2/3 full. spread the topgently untill you cant see any jelly/jam.
