Christian's Snickerdoodles(Cinnamon Sugar Cookies)

Preparation Time: 20 minutes
Number of Servings: 3 dozen

Ingredients:

1/2 cup margarine

1/2 cup shortening

1 1/2 cups sugar

2 eggs

3 1/4 flour

2 teaspoons cream of tartar

1 teaspoon baking soda

1/2 teaspoon salt

2 tablespoons sugar

2 teaspoons cinnamon

Directions: Set oven at 400 degrees. Mix margarine, shortening, sugar, and eggs on low speed. Blend in flour, cream of tartar, baking soda, and salt. Shape into teaspoon full round balls. Mix remaining 2 tablespoons sugar and 2 teaspoons cinnamon in a small bowl. Roll the balls in the mixture to coat. Put cookie dough balls 2 inches apart on an un-greased baking sheet. Flatten to approximately 1/4 inch thick with the bottom of a small glass. Bake for approximately 7-9 minutes in the 400 degree oven.
